Turkish Mayor Rips American Hypocrisy Over Its Handling of Baltimore Riots, Calls U.S. State Official A "Dumb Blonde"

WOW. So others in the world are starting to notice how white Americans, overwhelmingly those with blonde hair and a Euro, Swedish look (aka very pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes), are most likely to be tapped to fill either diplomatic or other prominent positions within the U.S. State Department... Wasn't it Condoleeza Rice who made the statement that when she joined the State Department she would look around the room and see all 'white males' and concluded that you had to be 'Pale, Male and Yale" to be hired on... Well, this woman is of course a female but she still fits the bill.. She looks "PRIVILEGED". It's always people who have a "PRIVILEGED LOOK" who gets those positions.

I gather her mom or dad has shit loads of money and she was educated at the finest institutions and has traveled the world and has been PAMPERED all of her life. She most likely doesn't know how it feels to work for a crappy racist (of course not she's WHITE and Blonde to boot!) Employer who pays her crappy wages and threatens and intimidates her and who waives her job over her head every moment of the day because she is a WHITE BLONDE PRIVILEGED AMERICAN and she would NEVER,EVER in a MILLION, ZILLION years be treated like the poor dark skinned unfortunates of America. Kudos to this Turkish Official for calling out the U.S.'s hypocrisy in the treatment of its black citizens as well as its affinity for BLONDE STATE DEPARTMENT OFFICIALS.

I thought I was the only one who noticed this.. These sorts of positions are what I consider to be 'gravy positions, or padded positions'. You have got to be connected to get them. Especially positions within the U.S. State Department. The average joe blow will never be hired no matter how hard he or she works because he (or she) doesn't have the PEDIGREE. Mom or dad has to have money or be from a connected 'pedigreed' background. Oh yeah.. and you have to be WHITE 99% of the time. They have great pay and perks and benefits and you can usually travel all over the world on the Government's dime and they just so happen to go to White Blondes. They always get all the good stuff don't they?

Washington (CNN)-

First we were all Americans. Then we were all Charlie Hebdo. Now we're all blonde.

At least, that's the newest form of solidarity being espoused by U.S. Ambassador to Turkey John Bass, who posted a photo of himself with lightened hair Thursday after a Turkish official tweeted a picture that called a State Department spokeswoman a "dumb blonde."

Acting Spokeswoman Marie Harf had been targeted in a series of vitriolic tweets Wednesday by the outspoken mayor of Ankara, Melih Gokcek, who blasted Harf in terms many view as sexist during a rant about the Obama administration's handling of the Baltimore protests.

In one of several tweets, he posted a screengrab from a Turkish online publication that included a picture of Harf and text that read "You were saying the Turkish police is using disproportionate force; where are you now, dumb blonde?"

In turn, Bass posted a picture of himself on Instagram with his hair digitally altered to appear blond. The picture was accompanied by the caption "#American diplomats: we're all blonde" in both English and Turkish.

Bass also raised Gokcek's tweets with Turkish officials, as did Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland, herself a former State Department spokeswoman, according to State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke.

In his tweets, Gokcek challenged Harf to speak out about the Baltimore protests, saying it was hypocritical of her to stay silent given the State Department's criticism of Turkish police in 2013 following a violent crackdown on protesters in Istanbul's Taksim Square and Gezi Park.

The protest, which began over plans to turn the park into a mall, ultimately transitioned into demonstrations against the government of then-Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Dozens were injured when police moved in to disperse the protestors using tear gas and water cannons.

In another tweet, Gokcek wrote, "Blonde girl, the government's attitude was worrying when we had Gezi, now it's 'normal' for you to have a curfew.
