Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper, Mark Williams, Caught Buying Drugs While On The Job

A Tennessee Highway Patrol Officer has been arrested and charged him with Delivery Of A Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession Of A Weapon During A Dangerous Felony. The officer, Trooper Mark Williams had been under investigation & was seen buying hydrocodone while on patrol duty Friday June 19th. TBI Officers also arrested Elliot goode, the dealer that sold Trooper Williams the drugs.

The shocking thing here though is that he has not been fired.

I'm not sure what the process is here, but when caught red-handed doing wrong, most people would be terminated on the spot. Trooper Williams however has been placed on "discretionary leave with pay!!!"

Surely someone will realize how bad this looks soon & serve Officer Pill-Popper his Separation Notice.

Trooper Mark Williams has been with the THP since 2004, and had most recently been working The Lauderdale County/Memphis District.
