African Americans tired of decades of systemic discrimination have a choice. That choice is to stop patronizing businesses that discriminate us. In particular white owned businesses. This is actually a very intelligent thing to do and here is why. When we do business with each other we empower one another. By engaging on trade with each other we take POWER away from the white man vas we all know how the white man loves power. "Obtaining Power" dictates everything the white man does. By doing business with each other, thus supporting "black owned businesses", we create jobs and hire from within our own communities. We work for ourselves. People will by nature want to hire and promote their own. To do business with their own. Because whites are in positions of power very often over blacks this places us at a disadvantage. Sure they will hire us but very often our wages are lower than our white counterparts and we will have more work placed on us. Numerous studies have stated that discrimination is the cause of many african Americans developing lifelong illnesses caused by the constant stress.
We must learn to do business with each other. If we are to ever truly have financial freedom and the ability to leave our children, as they will surely leave their own, a better life.
