All this I've heard about higher up executives being so fucking special was a damn lie. Wingspan Portfolio Advisors took low wage, temporary associates and made the favorites of the bunch Vice President's overnight.
These guys had limited experience and NO EXPERIENCE. They were TEMPORARY ASSOCIATES like all the rest of us. They were not in "Demand".
Justin Belter - Temporary Associate
Melanie Pellegrino - Temporary Associate
David Payne - Temporary Associate
Kevin Conn - Temporary Associate
They were not "spectacular" in the job they did either. They were AVERAGE. They were just in the right place at the right time.
So don't let these jackasses LIE to you like they were something SPECIAL.
When they get up in those meetings to talk to you about HARD WORK be honest and know that it wasn't "HARD WORK" that benefited them. It was just being in the right place at the right time.
All of this bullshit in America that they tell minorities about how to get ahead is a LIE. It isn't about WHAT you know. It is about WHO you know. In all honesty, it takes about 15 minutes of talking to someone to know if they can do the job or not. 99% of jobs out there require no "Special Abilities". A person can be TRAINED to do the job. So companies use all of these lies and other "criteria" just to give them the option to refuse the most qualified for the job in preference to their most FAVORITE.
So don't think you have to "WORK LIKE MULES" to get ahead at Wingspan Portfolio Advisors OR ANYWHERE ELSE. Their VP's didn't work like mules. In fact, most of them DIDN'T WORK AT ALL. They just were the FAVORITES. Which is why they have DO NOTHING JOBS NOW.
