'Just My Two Cents'
Our culture seems to be breeding a new source of hatred not seen since the 1950s and 1960s. When we look deep into the sources we see that many parents are blaming minorities for losing their jobs. They fail to address their own inadequacies and the fact that our minority populations in this Country still represent the most under paid class of workers within job classes of the lowest stature and regarded with the least respect.
It is a blame game that simply is the most vile abuse of our children's perceptive minds. Children take on (all to often) the bias of their parents and as they breed there is an exponential effect of racism and hate. Laws DO help. When laws are enforced to the fullest extent of the law in communities, the communities are less likely to exhibit these outlandish teaparty-style hatred behaviors.
The more the laws are enforced (and enacted) the more the population will learn what is and what is NOT acceptable behavior. Racism, Bigotry, Discrimination, is NOT acceptable behavior.
