There have been few companies in my life I have worked for that left such an awful taste in my mouth as Wingspan Portfolio Advisors. It wasn't just the mistreatment of minorities, EVP Jason Dickard monitoring our restroom activities, assigning our lunches and breaks whereas the all white department right next to us could have their own, threatening us when we were sick or had a family emergency or even the racial epithets managers Justin Belter and Melanie Pellegrino would often resort to, forcing many employees to erupt in anger and quit on the spot...
It was a company full of cronyism, managerial bullying and intimidation tactics, favoritism and oh yeah.. did I mention racism? However, when I was employed at Wingspan Portfolio Advisors, the managers would often ask us to do things that were unethical and illegal. They frequently wanted us to lie to clients and customers about account activity, papers received, loan and modification status, our location and company name. We often would fabricate the truth to clients that entrusted us to treat them fairly. And here's the kicker.. Bank of America Execs not only KNEW about this but they also CONDONED IT. I should have known they were capable of this because they seemed to be capable of every vile act under the sun quite frankly.
So long as it made them money.
And yes....
As you might imagine..
This company damaged employees. It hurt clients. Some of whom were U.S. Marines, Army, Navy, and Air Force Soldiers and Military men and women who where overseas fighting for our country and trying to save their homes.
I'm not quite sure if it was Steven Horne orchestrating the whole thing. We were all micromanaged to the hilt. Especially the minority employees. Even to the point where we were threatened that someone would have to escort each and everyone of us to the restroom as the white building manager, when the company starting hiring blacks and hispanics, suddenly found the need to complain about everything.
A piece of tissue found on the restroom floor? You would have thought someone smashed the mirror. The complaints were nonstop.. Jason Dickard even went so far as to claim the hispanic cleaning crew had threatened to quit... Geez.. These dudes were MASTER LIARS.
When will white folks figure out we all aren't DUMB?
Every other meeting they would lie like the contract with Bank of America was on Shaky Ground...Only to make people suddenly put out the work of two or three people. They would take their favorites.. Place them on easy assignments, hike their pay, give them all sorts of perks, etc... Oh yeah.. Did I mention they were also all white?
They would take their family members and friends and create jobs for them. Do Nothing jobs... With fancy titles and vacation and health insurance and benefits.. Whereas the majority of the blacks working at the company were without these offerings.
Until...
Black folks started to get PISSED OFF.
Muslim folks started to get PISSED OFF.
East Indian, Asian and Hispanic folks started to get PISSED OFF.
And then the company reluctantly promoted a few minorities to team leads and one (the main UNCLE TOM TOKEN Kevin Conn) to a Director's Position..
These guys were dirty sob's... All of them. They would even take certain employees and deny them work only to turn around and terminate the person for failing to turn in work. WTF?
They would run training class after training class through the building knowing at the time their numbers weren't good and routinely replacing over a third of their staff every few months.. For any reason. They would just randomly go and empty seats. People doing a perfectly good job would suddenly find themselves out of a job.
In every meeting Jason Dickard or Melanie Pellegrino would do nothing but LIE. LIE about job advancement opportunities. LIE about hard work being recognized (only if you were white) and LIE about damn near everything else you could lie about.
They also didn't know what the fuck they were doing. They would use the employees, the folks they managed, as shields to hide behind. They were so frightened of Bank of America Executives. So afraid to ask questions about various issues that would arise in the servicing of a customer's loan.
So they would tell the employee to "go ahead" and when shit hit the fan they would run and hide. Claim no responsibility. Leave the employee to take ALL the fault.
Dirty, Corrupt Bastards.
And now since Jamie Dimon, the HEAD SNAKE of JP Morgan, looks likely to lose his chairmanship position and possibly his job as well, and he has suddenly unloaded a LOSING mortgage default servicing division onto Wingspan Portfolio Advisors to save his ass, they want you to think all is different and they have changed.
So they snagged JP Morgan's TRASH.
Doesn't mean much to me.
They will now start to hound and harass and LIE to the unfortunate JP Morgan folks who find themselves now calling Wingspan Portfolio Advisors.
Damn.....
Some folks just can't catch a break can they?
So I say, if the choice you have is between Wingspan Portfolio Advisors and Wingspan Portfolio Advisors, (meaning you are desperate or they have bottomed out their fees and yeah.. you are DESPERATE) go right ahead.
But if you have any integrity.. Even a SHRED of integrity.. And you want to refuse to do business with a company that LIES, Refers to its employees as Niggers, Roaches, etc. and Cheats the Tax System by Flipping their Employees, I say go to another company.
Don't get caught up in what I refer as the Wingspan TRAP.
