Wingspan Portfolio Advisors Careers And Salaries - Insider Review

Steve Horne, CEO of Wingspan Portfolio Advisors
Looks like there is a lot of interest in Wingspan Portfolio Advisors Salaries by those who come across my page so I decided to give my input. The honest truth is that the "salaries" of Wingspan Portfolio Advisors Associates fluctuate WILDLY depending on who you are and who you know at the company.

The person sitting right next to you doing the same job as you with LESS experience than you could be making TWICE what you are making. Keep in mind that Wingspan Portfolio Advisors is a company that has grown larger with this new contract, but it is managed like a very, VERY small family run company. All that bullshit that the big guys use to determine what the "market" says certain skill sets should be earning is not how it works at Wingspan Portfolio Advisors.

White males fare better than everyone else. Keep that in mind. When I was employed at Wingspan Portfolio Advisors the white males could have NO experience and still be starting off at far more money than experienced associates of color.

White women were right behind and regardless of their skill sets they would often be earning far more than their black or Hispanic counterparts.

They would openly discuss their salaries so we all knew this to be true.

The positions started off at around $11.00 an hour at Wingspan Portfolio Advisors. Like most companies in Texas Wingspan Portfolio Advisors has grown adept at exploiting the increase in skilled labor that is flocking to this hot ass, sweltering state. Wingspan Portfolio Advisors started SKILLED mortgage agents off with $11.00 an hour. However, they went up to around $16 to $17 per hour if the person was white or fell into the good graces somehow of management. The HR had wide latitude to finagle the pay however they wanted.

If you were a white employee and fell into the good graces of a higher up, you could pretty much do what you wanted and I have often seen these guys try out several different positions until they found one they liked or had one created for them. They were not held to the same standards and rules as everyone else.

No one was making $40K per year and above except for the Vice Presidents and certain managers. There was a WIDE disparity in how much employees made as to how much managers made. As with most companies in Texas, the lower level employees often made close to NOTHING while the managers and their friends would be driving up to work in Ferraris and Porsches. So you would have a car lot full of used Fords and Buicks with missing rims and broken windows parked right beside cars that were $100,000 or more. This was commonplace.

Overall, regardless of your position, Wingspan Portfolio Advisors will be paying you around  $11.00 to $14.00 an hour on AVERAGE. I have friends that currently are working there and doing various jobs that require college degrees AND experience and they are starting off at between $11.00 to $14.00 per hour. That is the AVERAGE PAY for an EXPERIENCED, Non Management Associate Working at Wingspan Portfolio Advisors.
